Biography

Liliana was born in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Her introduction to performing was at age 10, when she was invited to sing at a school party, which became a regular occurrence.

At aged 18, Liliana wrote and recorded her first song "You Are My Angel ". Not having any guidance from industry professionals, she had no idea how to release it.  Later, a friend signed her up for 3 separate singing competitions in her Hometown, which to her amazement- she won!

At the age of 21 Liliana became the lead singer of the Portuguese band 'Roconorte' and spent the next 3 years performing Portuguese popular pop and rock songs at venues across the country.

Liliana received a request to join and tour as lead vocalist with the popular 'Pink Floyd' tribute band 'Pink Wall' in Tenerife enjoying several seasons. However, she was not content with just performing cover songs and her soul was crying out to sing her own original songs.

Liliana always dreamed of moving to Paris and decided to move there in 2013. Within a year of hard work, she was chosen to participate in (WCOPA) representing France in the 'World Championship of Performing Arts.

In 2018 Liliana moved to Rotterdam in the Netherlands where she worked in childcare to support herself. It was a difficult time for her because she could not speak, sing, or understand Dutch, which made it nearly impossible to continue with her music career.

It was at a time when Liliana was at her lowest point that Artist Manager Kim Hébert and USA Pop Artist Chesney Claire continuously encouraged her to fight for her dreams. They have both been very helpful and supportive in many ways.

It was around that time when Liliana was struggling that UK based International Lyricist, Artist Manager, & former A&R Raymond Fry,  whilst scouring Youtube, stumbled across a video of her singing a LIVE improvised vocal to the Pink Floyd song "Great Gig in The Sky" and he promptly got in touch with her to say that he was very impressed with her powerful voice and wide vocal range. He also added that he'd be willing to assist her to progress in her career.

Since meeting Ray, Liliana released her first professional single "Lonely Winter" in August 2021.
The record achieved over 150,000 streams on Spotify and she has since amassed many tens of thousands of followers across social media platforms.

Liliana's second song release "Love Paradise" was written by Platinum and Grammy Nominated producer, Standish Child. Liliana was sure that the lyrics needed strengthening. She asked Ray if he could take a look at it and Standish gave the OK for her to record the adapted version. The song was released in May 2022 and was very well received by her fans. In fact, it was a Top 10 finalist at the World Songwriting Awards for Best Pop Song.

More recently, Ray suggested that it was time that Liliana co-wrote a song with him, and the result was a beautiful pop ballad "Loving the Light" which was released at the end of August 2022 and was also a Top 10 finalist in the World Songwriting Awards for Best Pop song.

Liliana's latest song "Changing Faces" was released on June 23, 2023. It was written and produced by Raymond Fry, Andreas Jansson, and Liliana- who flew to London for Ray to oversee the vocal recording at Camden Studios and the vocal files were sent to Andreas in Sweden for mixing and mastering. Changing Faces also won a Top 10 finalist spot at the World Songwriting Awards for Best Pop song. The song has received amazing reviews from 'The Music Asylum',  'Illustrate Magazine', 'Lyric Odyssey', 'TJPL News Magazine', 'Testing Melodies', and is on many Spotify Playlists.

Liliana was invited to record Film trailers for Hunchback Music and their producers in the Netherlands. She recently travelled to their studio to record 4 trailers, one of which is titled "Raging Fire'". Raymond Fry is responsible for the lyrics.

We know that with the love and support from Liliana's fans, she can conquer anything.

She is triumphing over language barrier difficulties, access to a proper management team, and access to recording venues.  Where there is a way, Liliana is finding it.
